Privacy Policy

1. Summary
You can browse this website and download apps without an account. This website has no adverts and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. It keeps simple visit statistics without cookies and without storing IP addresses, and you can opt out with your browser's "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" setting. It only sets a cookie for visitors if they submit a rating.
2. Information we handle
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page or file requested and the time.
- Download counts. We keep one running total for each file. The total is not linked to you.
- Visit statistics. When a page opens, it tells our server which of our pages it is, the website that linked to it (if your browser shares this), and later how long the page was on your screen. We also note the device type (phone, tablet or computer) and operating system from your browser's description, and which app versions are downloaded. To count each visitor once a day, your IP address and browser description are combined with a random value that changes every day and is then deleted, giving a code that can't be traced back to you or linked across days. We don't store your IP address, use cookies or build a profile of you. This is skipped if your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal. Statistics are deleted after about 13 months.
- Ratings and comments. If you rate an app, we store your star rating, any name and comment you enter, and the date. Approved comments and names are shown publicly.
- Rating cookie. If you submit a rating, your browser receives one cookie, used only on the ratings page, so you can change your rating instead of rating twice. Your IP address is checked in memory for a short time to limit abuse, and is not saved with your rating.
- App suggestions. If you use the search bar to suggest an app, we store what you write, the platform you choose, the words you searched for and the date, so the developer can read it. Please don't include personal details. Your IP address is checked in memory for a short time to limit abuse, and is not saved with your suggestion. Searching itself happens in your browser and isn't sent to us.
- Emails. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include in your message.
- Administrator sign-in. One cookie keeps the site's administrator signed in to the admin panel. It is not set for visitors.
3. How we use it
We use this information to run and secure the website, deal with faults and abuse, understand how many people visit and which pages and files they use, show ratings, and reply to messages. We keep it only as long as we need it for these purposes, or as long as the law requires.
5. The apps
This policy covers this website. If an app collects or sends personal information, the app or its listing will explain what it does. VirusTotal reports open on VirusTotal's own website, which has its own privacy policy. Our support server is on Discord. If you join it, Discord's privacy policy applies to what you share there.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Children
This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, and the date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
