1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Sameer Khan ("Samy Tools", "we", "us"). They cover this website and every app you download from it, including its updates and documentation (the "Software").

By using this website, or by downloading, installing or using the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Software.

2. Who can use the Software

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian. If you use the Software for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

3. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for personal or business use. Unless the app's listing says otherwise, the licence is free of charge.

The Software is licensed to you, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights we do not expressly give you.

4. What you may not do

Unless the law or an open-source licence gives you the right to do so, you may not:

sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software;
re-host or mirror the Software, or bundle it with another installer or download manager, without our written permission;
remove or change any copyright or licence notice;
reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software;
distribute a changed version of the Software or present it as ours;
use the Software to break the law, spread malware, or infringe anyone's rights, including by handling files you have no right to use;
interfere with this website, including by trying to get into areas you are not authorised to use or by overloading it with automated requests.

5. Third-party components

The Software may include open-source or other third-party components. Their own licences apply to those components, and take priority over these Terms where the two conflict. Those licences are included with the Software or its documentation.

6. Downloads and your data

You are responsible for deciding whether the Software suits your device and your use of it. Only download the Software from this website, and compare the file with its published SHA-256 checksum if you want to confirm it has not been changed. We are not responsible for copies obtained elsewhere.

Text editors, file archivers and similar tools read, change, overwrite and delete files as part of their normal work. Keep backups of anything important before you use the Software. You are responsible for your files and backups.

Installing an Android app from outside an app store can require you to change a device setting. Your device or operating system may also show a warning before you install or run the Software. You choose whether to continue.

The safety information on this website describes how we build and check the Software. No scan can detect every threat, so please use your own judgement and security software.

7. Updates and availability

We may update, change or withdraw any Software or part of this website at any time, including older versions. We have no obligation to provide updates, support or maintenance, or to keep any version available.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information this website handles.

9. Ownership and trademarks

We or our licensors own the Software and this website, including their code, design, text and branding. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name or branding.

Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation and Android is a trademark of Google LLC. Samy Tools is not affiliated with or endorsed by either company. Other names mentioned belong to their owners.

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely and with no obligation to you.

10. No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Software and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement.

We do not promise that the Software or this website will be error-free, secure or uninterrupted, will be free of harmful components, or will not cause data loss.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue, business or goodwill, arising from the Software, this website or these Terms, even if we were told such loss was possible.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims will not be more than the greater of the amount you paid us for the Software in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.

12. Your legal rights

Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer right that cannot legally be waived, or limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If the law where you live does not allow part of sections 10 or 11, that part does not apply to you.

13. Claims caused by your use

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from any third-party claim caused by your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Software.

14. Ending these Terms

You can stop at any time by deleting the Software and no longer using this website. Your licence ends automatically if you break these Terms. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and delete your copies. Sections 4 and 9 to 18 continue to apply afterwards.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, and the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. By continuing to use this website or the Software after a change, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the website and the Software and delete your copies.

16. Governing law

The laws of India govern these Terms, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove any right you have under your local consumer law to bring a claim where you live.

17. General terms

These Terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Software and this website, unless an app comes with a separate licence. If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written permission.

18. Ratings and comments

If you rate an app or post a comment, you confirm that it is your own honest opinion and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. Do not include personal information about yourself or anyone else.

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to show it on this website. We may review, refuse or remove any rating or comment, including ones that are fake, abusive or spam. Comments show the opinion of the person who wrote them, not ours.
